There are many shocking changes observed in the TRP charts recently. Colors’ Shakti brings the tale of a transgender’s journey of life. All the hardships of a kinner is shown in well sketched manner. The show got the fictional twist by getting the kinner marry the handsome hunk Harman, which lead to their romantic and effective pairing. The viewers love to see Harman with his kinner wife Soumya. Now that Soumya has become a daughter in law of an influential house, the story revolves around Soumya’s life in the new transgender world and how her hearts and desires take a backseat. Her emotions take a toll on her mind, but poor Soumya could not help herself. Shakti has topped the TRP charts and reached the number one position. Viewers are very much excited to see the fiction twists around a kinner-bahu.
Saath Nibhana Saathiya holds the second place. Nazim’s re-entry is keeping the show sailing. Gopi has rolled back into her glamorous avatar. Nazim’s new role of Jaggi is very humorous and connecting well with the audience. The show got a good change for its viewers. Kokila and Gopi are the power couple among Saas-bahu jodis on the small screen. Both the ladies are fighting against injustice and giving the social message to all the women for non tolerance and fight back. The track is going well with Jaggi and Gopi’s pairing, which looks amusingly watchable.
Zee tv is not lagging behind and got two of its shows in the top five TRP scorers. Abhi and Pragya’s Kumkum Bhagya serves viewers’ interest being at the third place, while Brahmarakshas earned the fourth rank. Brahmarakshas does not have much terror, than just a scary figure. But the suspense and fear build up by the background scores and horrific close-ups gives goose bumps to the viewers. The audience is thrilled to watch the show, and loves the Jaani Dushman’s remake on small screen. There is just mere fright which makes the viewers sit on the edges of the seats and enjoy the thrilling show, with on-shower of romantic scenes between the leads Raina and Rishabh. Good looking actors and wonderful chemistry works as long as viewers enjoy watching them. Such is the case of Kumkum Bhagya, wherein Abhi and Pragya re-kicked romance is slowing brewing up. They both are meant for each other, and are yet too far. Their union and separation is very much liked by the audience. The show must go on, whatever the track runs. The viewers just enjoy to see Abhi and Pragya’s eye locks, blushing moments and silent romance.
Yeh Hai Mohabbatein has slipped down to the fifth place in the trade. The show TRPs got low because of Shagun and Ishita’s repetitive cat fights. The viewers does not seem to be interested in watching same custody drama and court room legal bothering again. The show needs to put up something progressive in the character’s lives. Raman and Ishita are together, but their romance is hugely missed right now. Aditya, Mihir and Aaliya’s love triangle did not do wonders for the show either.
